Scottish Jewellery

Ogham Jewellery of Ayr and Edinburgh, have an excellent raport with many Scottish jewellery designers. Our extensive range of Scottish Celtic knotwork jewellery in silver and gold is designed and made in Scotland. This jewellery is mostly from Ortak which is based in Orkney in Scotland. Some of our customers love to come in and order things from the back catalogue of Ortak. This jewellery is all sold out in the shops which can be annoying if you lose an earring from a favourite Ortak set. So pop into the shop and ask to see the back catalogue to get the matching necklace to complete the set or the earring you lost that you can't buy anywhere.

Ogham Jewellery of Ayr and Edinburgh, are proud of our Scottish heritage and sponsor some of Scotland's most exciting new jewellery designers. We also have traditional Celtic, Ogham and Scottish style jewellery like Charles Rennie Mackintosh from a variety of manufacturers from mainland Scotland, Orkney, Shetland and the islands.

Magical Scottish Silver Pendant
This beautiful hand painted blue enamel silver pendant is a blessing pendant written in Ogham which translated says a "blessing on the soul". Ogham is believed to be an ancient Celtic Scottish script each letter is a tree however traces have also been found in Ireland. It predates runic script which has Nordic origins. Who knows if the ancient magic still works but we could all use a blessing on our soul if it is as pretty as this piece of Scottish silver jewellery.
