At the bottom of this page are numbered pictures of the various colours which are available in anodised zirconium rings. If you wish to order an anodised ring please note the number of the colour you would like.

The different colours (apart from black) on the Zirconium rings are achieved by electro anodising, whereby the ring is immersed in a bath of ammonium sulphide and an electric current passed through the ring.

The numbers on the images above refer to the voltage that is used to obtain that particular colour. No actual colour is applied to the ring, the electric current has the effect of thickening the oxide layer of the metal. As light passes through the layer it is split up into different colours of the spectrum. Different thicknesses of oxide layer produce varying colours.
