In 7th Century, while scattering Christianity all over Europe, The Columban Monks, had previously been connected with Germanic Animal Art. This design of animal knotwork was eventually utilized by the scribes in their manuscripts. These historical images are already modified from three various border designs in the Book of Durrow that has been authored around 675 AD.
Spirals were utilised for magical and ornamental uses, with designers beautifying metal, stone and jewellery, but achieved their complete creative advancement in the course of the golden age of Celtic Arts in the 7th and 8th Centuries.

Stock items are sent as quickly as possible and will usually take 1-2 working days in the UK and up to 7 working days for International. For made to order items UK delivery is usually within two weeks, though some special order rings may take up to four weeks.
Our jewellery is posted in the UK by Royal Mail Special Delivery service which offers insured, recorded, signed-for, next day delivery and abroad by Royal Mail International Signed For service.
Delivery of UK orders up to £50 value are charged at £3.95 and free for orders over £50.
Delivery of International orders up to £100 value are charged at £11.95 and free for orders over £100.
Unfortunately we have had to stop taking orders from Europe at this time due to the enormous problems with customs, taxes and other red tape because of Brexit.
Goods can be returned up to 14 days from despatch of the goods for a refund, excluding any delivery charges, if you are in any way unhappy with your purchase or for any other reason, however this does not include custom made / made to order products or earrings (due to hygiene laws). Goods can also be returned up to 30 days from despatch for an exchange.
